COULD YOUR COMMUNITY GROUP DO WITH SOME
SOLAR PANELS? LET US SUPPORT IT!
As two brands best enjoyed under the sun, we want as many communities as possible to make good use of it. Together, we’ve set up a revolving fund with the legends at Enova Community Energy.
We are working with Enova because we love that they are a social enterprise, built from the ground up by the people, for the people.
Apply for our grant on behalf of your community group by submitting an expression of interest to have solar panels installed at your club/hall.

OUR SOLAR & RENEWABLE MISSION
WE’RE SERIOUS ABOUT THE SUN AND RENEWABLE ENERGY.
HERE’S WHAT WE’RE
DOING AT 4 PINES:
- Brookvale Brewery HQ, where this good drop was brewed, is partly powered by solar panels that were 100% funded by a community of investors.
READ MORE HERE
- All our electricity across 4 Pines venues and HQs is sourced from a wind farm in New England, NSW, and a solar farm in Wagga Wagga, NSW, under a Power Purchase Agreement. This demonstrates our commitment to lowering our carbon emissions and becoming carbon neutral.
HERE’S WHAT OUR MATES AT BEN & JERRY’S ARE DOING:
- Ben & Jerry’s are very close to achieving their target of 100% Renewable energy for their own facilities by 2025.
- Ben & Jerry’s measure all their footprints, which includes emissions from dairy. They are working to reduce this through several methods, including helping to fund research to reduce methane released from cows. Ben & Jerrys are also piloting regenerative agricultural methods to reduce carbon and improve soil health.
We know that no matter what kind of pints we make, just by existing as a company, we have a carbon footprint, so there is always more work to be done. We take our role in bringing the community alongside us on the sustainability journey seriously, which is why this project has been so special for everyone involved.
WHAT IS NITRO BEER?
Nitrogen is pretty much insoluble in beer, which is why when you hard pour this good beer into a glass, you’ll spy millions of tiny bubbles racing from the bottom to the surface in a mesmerizing cascade of colour. These energetic little nitrogen bubbles create a marvellous head with a creamy mouthfeel like a velvety dream.
THIS IS HOW YOU ACTIVATE THE NITRO
When you order this good beer on tap, the nitro is forced into the beer when your lovely bartender pulls down onto the tap handle. Simply brilliant.
WHAT IS THAT B LOGO ON THE CAN?
DOING BUSINESS THE OLD CRUSTY WAY
DOESN’T FEEL RIGHT TO US.
