Next Beer Party: Waitangi Day February 6th

There will be absolutely no references in this Waitangi Day shout out to New Zealanders being our lesser cousins across the sea who shag sheep (unsubstantiated), butcher the English language with their sully uccents, or the poor form of their cricket team.

We will however make note that these days we’re pretty sure that more of them live here than over there, so be thankful that Tony Abbott’s attention is diverted to the North and can’t see the boats coming across the Tasman.

To our kiwi friends, you are all most welcome. So much so that we’re helping celebrate national ‘the Maoris beat the hell out of us so we’ll call a truce day’ with a few specially brewed kiwi beers and Dave Dobbyn on repeat all day.

If you’re a person of New Zealand descent (kiwi) head down to the venue for a free pint, for our beer club members we’re offering free upgrades to pints all day.

We’re leaving our awkward Christmas photo up for this particular event because.. well look at him, he’s probably a kiwi. We of course mean clean cut and musically inclined, don’t take offense.
